K.O announces his forthcoming single titled ‘King Size’ with AKA.

Frequent Collaborators K.O & the late South African Hip Hop Icon AKA have joined forces to schedule their forthcoming collaborative single titled ‘King Size’ which was promised to serve as their leading single off their long overdue collaborative tape before the passing of AKA in February 2023.

This comes after the rapper postponed his forthcoming project ‘I think You Spoke Too Soon’ slated for the first quarter of 2025. ‘King Size’ has been in the works for the longest time with South African music audience pleading with the President of Skhanda Republic K.O to release their last collaborative single ‘King Size’. In addition to this announcement, the rapper has also announced King Size’release date, 30 October 2024, serving as as the fourth leading single taken from his forthcoming project; following the successful releases of ‘Let Me Cook’ featuring Maglera Doe Boy, ‘Pasopa’ featuring Usimamane, On The Way – formed part of Losing Lerato 2 Soundtrack.

Since the passing of his frequent collaborator AKA, K.O has been paying homage to the enduring legacy of Mr ‘Supamega’ better known as AKA while stating that the competitive nature of the music industry sinked with AKA’s passing; “ Ngaph’ uKairo’s father’s really gone and we all miss him. The competitive nature of this industry gone with him, was really the sauce in it” K.O stated on ‘SWave Freestyle’ dedicated to the birth of his shop ‘SWave’ based at Rosebank in Johannesburg.
