The Rands Holidae, dubbed Home Away From Home, will bring together a three-day world to life at Vryguns Rd in Paarl, with some of South Africa’s renowned acts such as Usimamane, Maglera Doe Boy, Da Capo, DJ Stokie, Scorpion Kings and DJ Tira to name a few lauded as the headliners for the event with the internationally recognised Television station ‘SABC 1’ named as the Media Headline sponsor vowing to cover what transpires at the Rands Holidae premises – dubbed as the promised land. According to Rands Holidae, the event is a celebration of music, culture with adventurous activities in sight as the landscape embodies the swimming mentality accompanied by leisure cross in swing with Swartland Mountain range vowing to send you into a ‘camping festival’ state of mind, adding that the event houses more than just genre but an experience of sounds which rooted in showcasing an exploration of how our music industry is evolving; as the Soulful Sunday segment vows to feature an extensive roster of sounds including Amapiano, Gqom, Hip Hop and House music, leading the ‘Waar Was Jy’ pack with 90’s R&B and Kwaito reminding the attendees and celebrating the long lasting legacy of our musical heritage.
